Welcome to Darbees Chasing Rainbows
An introduction to our family blog where we document RV life, faith, homeschool field studies, useful builds, and the road toward Kingdom Farm.
Hello from the road
We’re the Darbees, and this is our little corner of the internet. We’re documenting the road as we go — the RV projects, field notes, family lessons, useful builds, and the dream of someday building Kingdom Farm.
This blog is part journal, part archive, and part open notebook. If any of it helps another family along the way, that’s a bonus.
What you’ll find here
We organize our writing into three broad lanes:
- Blog — family updates, faith reflections, recipes, gear thoughts, and the everyday stuff
- Field Notes — hikes, nature studies, historic sites, and homeschool field trips
- Projects — DIY builds, RV automation, schematics, and code we’ve shipped
Where we’re headed
Long-term, we’re working toward Kingdom Farm — a family homestead with a Christmas tree farm, an RV park, hospitality, and room for the people we love. It’s a long road. We’ll show our work as we go.
Stick around
If any of this resonates, subscribe to the newsletter, grab the RSS feed, or just bookmark the field notes index. We’re glad you’re here.
